i mean i dont like Kayne either but Soulja Boy is pure garbage but i get why ciph is saying what he did cause ciph listens to music as a CLUB DJ 1st so it makes sense, for me IMO i dont give a shit about if you can dance to it or sing along with it i want good beats a good lyrical content. just to correct Rektified slightly.
Cloud 9 is on the More Grey Hairs album, not the first 1.
Personally, I think the beat is weak for Premier.. its nothin’ too special, doesn’t blow me away, but its still ok. I think Jay did sound nice over it tho.

the thing is, soulja boy aint made for you. soulja boy might seem terrible to a hip-hop backpacker, but the kids who those tracks are made for fucking LOVE his shit, and dont give a shit about how dope a kanye beat is. its not that ciph DJs for the clubs, he can just respect dude’s work. calling soulja crap/trash/garbage etc contradicts rosenberg’s stance on “not just being some hater”.

^^^ i know what you mean. most of the time, preem drops shit like a pigeon (i.e., unexpectedly). i remember the beat sounded familiar when i first heard “cloud 9″, which leaked before “more grey hairs” dropped. it took me a while to realize where the beat was from.
