Now you know, Rosenberg is a cheapskate. But, you and him work together well and share an interest in the REAL hiphop.

Don't let his cheap ass ruin this. Just don't do money deals with him.

I have cheap friends too! And I won't treat them or let then borrow money.

Ciph,

I know I might be late on commenting on the situation, but I wanted to make sure it was heard, or read, by you. Of course it is concerning Juan Epstein, and the movement that you guys support as whole.

While I do understand your position in the matter, you have got to understand the importance of recording these moments and preserving them for history, which it will be in time, trust.

Look, I am a 25 year old high end motionographer, 3D modeler, designer and all things digitally creative. I do anything from commercials, music videos, and post-production vfx, to logos, flyers, t-shirts, websites, and creative consulting. oh and I reign from Harlem, but Im getting checks in Atlanta right now (the money is sweeet down here).

I tell you this because I understand that I am the last of a very rare dying breed. There are very few people my age that have a great connection with all that is hip-hop. The ones that do were blessed with guidance into it from an older brother, or parents even. I had the advantage of having Uncles and such that were, and still are, very deep in the music game, as in started their career taking album pictures for Marvin Gaye, Teddy Pendergrass, Aretha Franklin, to being a road manager for LLs first tour, and having to G-check him cause he was still a youngster.

What I am trying to get across to you is that we are a part of the beginning of an art form. A fine art that will eventually be professionally studied and very well could possibly be a requirement for kids to study in their art history class. The candid, and detailed interviews, or conversations really, are not only a joy some of the biggest music junkies and nerd hoppers, but will eventually be seen as a documentary-like piece of history. The Juan Epstein style of candid and relatable look into these artists' moments of creativity will remain in time and will be referenced by students and music aficianados (sp) in a long time from now. 50 years from now, could you imagine that it could be considered snobby or sofisticated to ride around bumping devin?!

My point is, I use all my skills to support this movement. Im working on a high end HD video for Killer Mike. All green screen, post production. I also am working on one for Hollyweerd, a local Atlanta hiphop act. They got a song, "Have you ever made love to a weerdo?" that I am working on. Both of these Im doing "pro bono" which is basically free with a hook-up to any of their shows but the satisfaction of seeing that I did my part to support this movement for the ones to come, for my son, is all I need. You got the chance. You guys have the choice to become the historians of this mind blowing eclectic life that we are blessed with, or you have the choice to squander like many of the things that african americans have done in the past. Do Juan Epstein. Do more. Take it back the Rawkus work ethic from back in the day. I was there too. I will help you guys digitally anyway I can. If you need editing, post-production (like lower thirds) or commercials, 15 sec spots, 5 sec spots, website, flyers, whatever. Im here. Utilize me and other creative talents that have that rare hiphop knowledge that can help me this thing grow. I dont know man, im sounding like a stan now. holla at me.
